Our favourite Christmas logos from the past

We were digging through the office archives recently and came across an old Christmas logo that we produced one year for the ukphonebook.com website.

This got us thinking about all the different festive versions of our company name we had done over the years. That’s 24 years to be precise, as ukphonebook.com was first launched in 1998 as an online telephone directory enquiries service.

So here we go with our top 3 Christmas logos, as voted for by all of the staff here in the ukphonebook.com office...

In 3rd place

Putting a Santa hat on something immediately makes it festive so why not do that with our company name? Well, we did, and this is our Christmas logo created in 2009 taking the 3rd place spot.

In 2nd place

Everyone likes a Christmas bauble. They come in all shapes, sizes and colours and are an essential ingredient in any Christmas tree festive decorations.

Here is the ukphonebook.com Christmas bauble that first appeared in 2017, dropping down from the top of the home page in dramatic fashion! The bauble has been a regular feature on the website since then and has secured the runners up spot in our vote.

It lasted well until this year when we decided to retire the Christmas bauble in favour of our brand new dedicated Christmas page, providing help with your Christmas card addresses, searching for Christmas tree sellers and more.

And the winner is...

Our designer from yesteryear really got the creativity going when they produced this animated Christmas logo for the website back in 2003.

It was the clear favourite in the ukphonebook.com office. Maybe we should bring it back one Christmas?
