"How do I change my registered email address with you?"
Go to the 'My Account' section and click the icon 'Change email address'. From the 'My Account' page, you can also change your password to something more memorable for you.

"You say in your Terms and Conditions that I can't use the service for business use. Why not?"
For businesses, we provide a competitively priced premium service that is not funded from advertising and includes features not found on our public site. Please contact info@simunix.com for details.

"I paid for credits and now I can't find what I'm looking for"
We can make no guarantees that you will find the person or business listed. Approximately 50% of UK residents choose to be classified ex-directory and, due to what we believe is a misinterpretation of Privacy Regulations by the data providers, as an Internet service, we are not permitted to search on records classified as such.

There is also an option to not appear on Internet sites, but to be listed with the voice services such as 118090 and 118365. Oddly, even some businesses opt for this!

Remember, the less you type and the wider you make your search, the more likely you are to find a result.

"You advertise as a 'free' service, but then I'm asked to pay"
For every search carried out on the UK directory, we must pay a wholesale price to the UK dominant telecom provider (whose name we are not allowed to mention). The advantage to you is that our data is refreshed 6 days per week with as many as 40,000 updates making it the most current directory available.

We provide 5 free searches per day to UK residents (and generate revenue from advertising). We generate little advertising revenue from overseas visitors so we ask that they make an initial minimum purchase. As long as they maintain a balance of ‘paid’ credits, they too will receive the 5 free daily credits.

"I don't want to receive any more marketing emails from you"
All of our messages have an opt-out link included in the text. However, searching for UK telephone numbers is not free to directory providers so we reserve the right not to provide free searches to people who opt out.

"I want to cancel my account"
Go to the 'My Account' page and click the 'cancel account' link. This will also remove your email address from our records.
